Meet your Thailand Journeys guide at Laem Chabang Port
Take a private transfer to Ayutthaya, the 2nd capital of Siam, renowned for past relics and ancient temple ruins.
Arrive in Ayutthaya Historical Park to visit the famous Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, one of the most important historical sites during the Ayutthaya Period. It was the former royal temple, lying inside the grand palace compound. Nearby walk to the Viharn Phra Mongkol Bophit, a beautifully decorated sanctuary that houses a large bronze cast Buddha image originally enshrined in the open area outside the Grand Palace and later covered by a building in the reign of King Songtham.
Visit Wat Mahathat (Temple of the Great Relics): is located almost right in the center of Ayutthaya City and a typical temple of the Ayutthaya ruins, large crumbling Chedi, or Stupa surrounded by low laterite walls and rows of Headless Buddha Images. One Buddha Image-head is in a tree trunk.
Enjoy a Thai lunch at a local Thai restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the famous Summer Palace of Bang Pa-In. The palace was originally used by the royal family as a summer retreat during the Ayutthaya Period. It was destroyed during the downfall of Ayutthaya and was restored by the fourth king of Rattanakosin Kingdom (current Chakri Dynasty of Thailand). Inside the palace, there are many impressive buildings and gardens, derived from the East and West cultures.
Return back Laem Chabang Port for your departure cruise..
Arrive at Laem Chabang Port 1.5 hrs. before departure time.
