Bangkok – Arrival
Upon your arrival in Bangkok, deplane and follow signs to Immigration, located one level above baggage claim. Descend elevator to collect baggage. After clearing customs, proceed to the Arrival lobby and look for your sign. Our friendly representative will assist your family with luggage and help with your transfer to your comfortable hotel for check-in.

Bangkok – Klong (canal tour) – Wat Pho
Morning
Buffet Breakfast will be served at the hotel (time: 06:30-10:30hrs morning).

Travel by motor launch on the picturesque Chao Phraya River and canals, or Klongs, to observe the serene family homes and temples along the waterways. You will pass the famous Royal Barges, excellent samples of Thai craftsmanship and stop at Wat Pho, one of the oldest and largest temples in Bangkok.

Bangkok – Ayutthaya Day trip
Breakfast at the hotel and make a trip to Ayutthaya: former Kingdom of Siam by one hour drive.

Explore through Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, is an important landmark in Ayutthaya where you will visit ancient ruin of Grand Palace and its temples including monk chat and make merit. Wat Mahathat an unseen tourist attraction where you could see buddha head enshrine in the three. These temples also enshrine buddha Relic from the past 600 years. Kudi Dao is a restored temple ruin situated off the city island in the eastern area of ​​Ayutthaya.
 
Stops and experiences how the local people making famous product Cotton candy, this is in Thai we call ROTI. We will let you learn how they make it and will also let you try it. We would like to take you somewhere tourist not usually go. Here is an old ruin temple (Wat Kudidao) where we can share with your storytelling from local people and also other stories about Ayutthaya that you could not find on google or any travel book. We head back to Bangkok after the tour.

Bangkok – Siem Reap by Overland drive – Floating Village
This morning, check out from the hotel and get ready for road trip headed east to Thai – Cambodia land border, after immigration formalities, we continue our drive to Siem Reap.(Approximately driving from Bangkok to Siem Reap is 6 hours)

After some refreshment at hotel, we will make an excursion to Floating village outside Siem Reap, an introductory experience of Khmer peaceful ways of life, residing by the tributaries of Tonle Sap Lake: biggest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia rich in ecosystems whereas local welcome visitors from near and far with attraction of crafts and unique lifestyle. After capturing picturesque evening, return to lively Siem Reap Pub Street where you can explore opportunities to bring some great memories strolling through souvenirs shops, pop-up exotic snacks and dining experience.

Siem Reap – Sunrise over Angkor Wat and Ancient ruins tour
Morning
Early this morning, hop on a local Ramork (similar to the Thai tuktuk) and be taken to a special sightseeing tour of the famous Angkor Wat. Built during the reign of King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century, Angkor Wat is constructed following the model of the temple mountain symbolizing Mount Meru, the home of the gods. Inside the temple, the walls are covered with stone carvings and bas-reliefs depicting Hindu mythology and the wars Suryavarman II fought during his reign. Angkor Wat is well known for the more than 2,000 Apsara dancers decorating the temple. Construction is thought to have taken around thirty years of intensive labor. 
 
Today, Angkor Wat is figured on Cambodia\\\'s national flag as the temple symbolizes the soul of the Khmer people. 
 


 
Afternoon
Lunch is served at the restaurant near Angkor Wat.

This afternoon, visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom. This is the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII and the city is surrounded by an 8m high wall, drawing a perfect square. Enter through the ancient South Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with Elephants and four giant faces.

From here, continue to Bayon Temple in the exact center of the city. This 12th century masterpiece is a study in grandeur and is well-known for its 54 towers with enigmatic faces representing the 54 provinces of the Great Khmer Empire. The Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King are also must-visits as they are both known for their intricate bas-reliefs.

After big day of sightseeing, you are free to relax by the poolside at the hotel and enjoy this evening on your own.

Siem Reap
Morning
After Breakfast, today explore the temples of the Small Circuit. The most illustrious of these is Ta Prohm, built in the mid-12th to early 13th centuries. Ta Prohm is unique in that it has been left largely as it was found: overgrown by jungle trees and vines, with many parts of the temple crumbling to the ground. This makes the Tomb Raider Temple one of the most picturesque and memorable of the Angkor temples. The visit will also include Banteay Kdei, a Buddhist monastery from the late 12th Century, and Srah Srang, also known as the pool of ablutions.

Come back to hotel in the afternoon and have free time at leisure.

Siem Reap – Phnom Penh
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.

Today begin 5 hrs scenic drive to Phnom Penh, along the drive enjoy the rural scenery of Cambodia, making stops at Skuon known for its abundance in exotic fruits and snacks, wander around this little rest-stop to witness what local specialties are picked by locals on their drive.

Arriving in the afternoon, check-in to the hotel for some refreshment.

Later join Orientation walking tour led by our Tour leader to understand history and culture of Phnom Penh, pick riverside rooftop restaurant for some drinks and dinner.

Phnom Penh – Killing Fields & Toul Sleng Genocide Museum
Morning
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Today we will escort you on guided excursion.

After Independence from French colony, Cambodia was divided by different political agendas and unwanted dragging in to Vietnam war finally led to the rise of communism, it finally resulted in authoritarian rule of Pol Pot: leader of Khmer Rouge, his brutal regime took over 3 million lives, war is still bitter to many but today former execution and interrogation sites named Killing fields and Toul Sleng Genocide Museum are places that history is retold.

Phnom Penh – Ho Chi Minh City by flight
Breakfast at the hotel, free at leisure and enjoy the hotel facilities.

Check-out and meet your Thailand Journeys Tour leader and take a private transfer to Phnom Penh Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh city (recommended flight/ Earlier flight VN 921 - (Vietnam Airlines) time: 13:50-15:00hrs / included).

Upon your arrival in Tan Son Nhat Airport, perform immigration formalities and drive to hotel for check-in.

Note: Most nationalities receive single entry visa exemption but please check before your status or prepare visa beforehand.

After check-in and refreshment at the hotel, join the guided walking orientation of Ho Chi Minh city, a sprawling, characteristic and busy metropolis with many stories to tell.

Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang - Hoi An by flight
Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and meet your Thailand Journeys Tour Leader and take a private transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your departure flight (flight VJ 624 (Viet jet) – 0850/1010 included).

Upon your arrival in Da Nang Airport, drive to hotel in Hoi An for check-in.

Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. After some refreshment at hotel, Your Trip Leader and Local Expert will organize Orientation Walk and walking tour of the ancient town center to visit the former merchants\\\' homes, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market. 

Lunch is on your own in Hoi An Old Town. Take some down time in the afternoon and start Bicycle tour through local village and rural area of ​​Vietnam. Embark on the boat to see sunset and the beauty of Hoi An scenic from the river in the evening.

Hoi An – Hue
Breakfast at the hotel and prepare to make 4 hrs. drive past coastal road by East Sea, picturesque hill views with a stop at Bunker Hill once it was Border checkpoint between North and South Vietnam, then continue the mesmerizing scenery along the way to Hue, a quintessential town in Central Vietnam.

Hue – Hanoi by Overnight train
Morning
Spend the day at leisure and check out from hotel. As a suggestion head down to Hue’s Imperial Tombs and Royal houses of last Nguyễn Dynasty, deeply influenced by East Asian customs or get a little adventurous on the escorted bike-taxi to explore alleys, pagoda and historic remains.

Today is your free day at leisure before catching Overnight Sleeper train (ETA: 15:05/1545) to give deep into its way of life. You can choose to relax on your own or consider optional activities as follows: 

Thien Mu Pagoda: known for Buddhist monastery, impressive Bonsai Garden and holy monk who drove down to Ho Chi Minh city for protest
The Perfume River: enjoy Dragon along the river for peace and tranquility
Escorted Bike-taxi half-day tour of hidden Alleys, colorful incent sticks workshops, and Thanh Toan Bridge

Hanoi – Ha Long Bay
Morning arrival at Hanoi, drive to hotel for breakfast and storage of excessive luggage before your transfer to 2 Days / 1 Nights Ha Long Bay Junk Boat trip.

Note: We will store excessive luggage at hotel and pack the necessities for 2 Days 1 Night trip on Ha Long Bay junk boat.

Excursion to Ha Long Bay 2 Days / 1 Night
Set off your journey from Hanoi for a 2.5 hrs drive to Ha Long Bay including a 20-minutes stop on the way. Arrive at the jetty in Ha Long City towards noon and proceed with check-in formalities. After a welcome onboard, lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay itself. In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and or activities (depending on each boat itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on board. Towards the end of the day the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. 

Dinner is served on board.

Ha Long Bay – Hanoi
Enjoy a fresh morning in the middle of the bay, the sun rises on Ha Long in the morning and breakfast is served (brunch on some boats) while the vessels cruise slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back towards port. 

Disembark and drive back to Hanoi.

Upon arrival in Hanoi, walk with our Tour leader on insightful Orientation walking tour, being the Historic and contemporary capital, Hanoi offers taste of East Asian, French and of course Vietnamese.
 

 
Afternoon
This evening is the last night of this amazing adventure. We will take you to have farewell dinner and spent a night out to celebrate the completion of our unforgettable journey.
