Bangkok – Half Day Grand Palace, Wat Pho & Wat Arun

Breakfast at the hotel

Visit to the Royal Grand Palace, the nation’s landmark and most praised royal monument in Thailand, with the enclosed and dazzling Wat Phra Kaew is a must. Wat Phra Kaew, also called the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is well known for its Golden Chedi, its Pantheon of the Chakri Kings and its Eight Colored Tower. In Thailand, it is considered by many to be a living example of a classical Siamese Court, being the former residence of the kings of Thailand.

Then short walk to visit Wat Pho is regarded as the first center of public education and is sometimes called ‘Thailand’s first university’. Mural paintings, inscriptions, and statues found in the temple educated people on various subjects such as literature, warfare, archaeology, astronomy, geology, meditation and is considered to be home of Thai traditional massages. We will also stop by the “Temple of Dawn” (officially named Wat Arun). An ancient temple dating back to the Ayutthaya period with the imposing Khmer-style prang or tower is 104 meters tall with steep decorate with the multihued floral mosaics from broken Chinese porcelain that was used as ballast by boats coming from China. Today the temple is one of Bangkok\'s most iconic structures, with most remarkable visual identities on the bank of Chao Phraya River.

FULL DAY KOH TAO & KOH NANGYUAN SNORKLING

Join-in Service / Time: 10:00 - 17:00 hrs.

Start the trip with a pickup service from your hotel lobby and get driven to Mae Haad Pier where you will meet the crew of Sangthong Tours. After a quick health check, board the modified fishing cutter and chug to the first snorkel spot at Koh Nangyuan off Koh Tao’s northwest coast.

Walk on the iconic beach that links the group of three islands of Koh Nangyuan together, and climb up to the viewpoint on the peak of the highest of the three islands. There are a few separate swimming areas with tropical fish, including Japanese Garden as the best snorkeling spot and others where you can just chill out and relax.

Head over to Mango Bay while enjoying a Thai style lunch on board. The bay is named after many mango trees that once grew on this part of Koh Tao in abundance. The magnificent Mango Bay shines with turquoise green and beautiful waters that are full of marine life. Due to shallows off the beach and the sandy seafloor that gives the water a beautiful turquoise green hue, Mango Bay is a go-to destination for snorkel activities.

Continue to Hin Wong Bay located on the east coast of Koh Tao surrounded by big boulders. There are several underwater pinnacles covered in fertile coral, anemones and many kinds of fish that can be seen here. The water here is incredibly clear and you may be lucky enough to see great schools of sardines being chased by hungry trevally in water less than a metre deep.

The next stop is at Aow Luek which is named for its deep, concave shape as well as the depth of the water which makes it good for snorkeling even at very low tide. Expect a stunning scenery with white sandy beach and water varying shades of blue, and Shark Island in the background.

Before returning to the pier, make a stop at Shark Bay where you can swim alongside the many blacktip reef sharks or the sea turtles that come there each day.

Photo stop at View point overlooking the beautiful Chaweng Beach. Next, visit Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks are some fascinating rock formations. They\'ve been a source of giggles and wonder on the island since they were discovered by the locals many years ago. Known as Grandpa (Ta) and Grandma (Yai), the rocks look, respectively, like male and female genitalia. Wat Khunaram is an impressive temple in Samui because it hosts the mummified remains of a monk, Luong Por Daeng. The mummy is in a seated meditative position in which he died over 20 years ago, and remarkably shows little sign of decay. Last stop at Na Muang Waterfall, this waterfall is just off a concrete road, making it easily accessible to visitors.
